NYC 6th grade

Last week, our 6th graders embarked on an incredible trip to New York City, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The adventure began with a scenic ferry ride around the Statue of Liberty, offering breathtaking views of the iconic monument and a profound sense of history. The students were thrilled to see Lady Liberty up close, and many took the opportunity to capture photos and soak in the moment.

From there, the excitement continued as the students ascended to the top of the World Trade Center. The unparalleled vistas of the city skyline left everyone in awe, providing a unique perspective of New York City’s grandeur. This was a highlight for many, as they marveled at the sprawling urban landscape from such great heights.

The group also visited the solemn 9/11 memorial pool, where they paid their respects and reflected on the significance of the site. The serene atmosphere offered a moment of introspection and learning about the resilience of the city.

Lunch at the iconic Hard Rock Cafe provided a fun and delicious break, with students enjoying classic American fare amidst the rock 'n' roll memorabilia. This meal was the perfect way to cap off a day filled with excitement, learning, and unforgettable memories.
