Maritime Aquarium

Last week, the 6th grade science classes all took an incredible trip to the Maritime Aquarium. Students explored exhibits of jellyfish, enjoyed touch tanks with rays and sharks, watched otters and meerkats, and even saw an otter feeding! After that, they caught a stage exhibit where they met a tortoise, then saw an immersive 4D movie of RIO where the seats vibrated and the theater created environmental conditions like snow flakes and wind. This trip is always a hit, and this year was no exception!
