8th Grade NYC Trip
Last week, the eighth grade kicked off spring trip season with a fabulous trip into Manhattan.
After some shenanigans and group photos at Pier 16, the group took a private ferry tour around Ellis Island and enjoyed posing for pictures with the Statue of Liberty. Then they were off to One World Observatory, where they enjoyed the gardens before taking the sky pod elevator up 100 floors to check out the city from 1268 feet up. Students and staff enjoyed picking out places they had already been that day from their perch in the sky. The group finished the day with lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Student photographers Aleise Borrero, Stephanie Monsanto, Sadie Oquendo, Chelsea Salas, Ashley Tepoz, and Lilyann Valentin captured the enthusiasm of the day in their photos. Check them out!
