Students Celebrate Black History

MS343 students in our after school enrichment programs delivered a fantastic performance this week.

 

In the Black History Month Celebration, students performed dances ("Freedom" and "La Negra Tiene Tumbao"), music ("Stand Up"), an African Diaspora fashion show, and delivered poetry ("Raisin in the Sun").

 

Special thanks to our dance coach, Cheryl Newsome, and all of the performers who worked incredibly hard after school to create and deliver this powerful performance.
